As it turns out, we have a lot of oOT relatives coming in and they want to stay in Brooklyn. I can't find decent prices anywhere in the vicinity. All the Brooklyn hotel prices are equivalent to those in NYC. What kind of accommodations have you offered your guests? I was thinking about it all last night, its driving me crazy.

Around Sheepshead Bay area. There are like 3 hotels 2 blocks away from our house and all range in the mid $200 per night. If they plan to stay at least 2 nights we can't ask them to cough up plane tickets and pay around $500 to stay here AND give gifts. I don't know what to do.

I just checked, unfortunately it comes out $500 for the weekend.

I know, its ridiculous. And your dates are in the off season. I knew ours would be more expensive since its summer, but not THAT expensive.
