Going to start looking at venues with Fh. We want to stay in Brooklyn or Staten Island since I have a lot of family without cars. Anybody have any suggestions. Preferably under $100pp October/November 2014 I really have my heart set on Dyker Beach Golf Course. Does anybody have a quote from them?

What about Grand Prospect Hall? We have an appointment to go there, and they said they would be under $100pp. We ended up at The Swan Club because they gave us well under that. We refused to look anywhere over $90pp.

El Caribe was the first thing that came to my mind. Don't have any quotes though, sorry.
Good luck!

I think I remember seeing quotes for dyker beach that were over $100pp, but it doesn't hurt to contact them anyway!

I was considering grand prospect hall. I just don't know if I want to go to park slope. I guess it won't hurt to check it out El caribe I don't like. But thanks for the suggestion.

Grand prospect hall gets horrible reviews. I would steer clear.
check out El caribe (Brooklyn) Rex Manor (Bklyn) Siricos (Bklyn) Novita Ballroom in Staten Island Old Bermuda Inn (SI) The Renaissance (SI)
DJS: Trio Productions (ask to speak to Gary, and say Noelle referred you (Im Noelle)). Gary did my wedding and it was INCREDIBLE! I got a great deal on what I got too. FM me if you have any questions
Florist: Flowers by Emil in Bensonhurst, speak with Carmine. Very honest and has great prices.
Let me know if you have any questions.

I've been to a wedding at The Old Bermuda Inn on Staten Island which was really beautiful..espescially during Christmas time. They decorate beautifully for the holidays. (Also Dash of Class is a great DJ from Staten Island. I've seen them do 2 weddings and they were great.)Don't have costs for either though, sorry.

Dyker was over $100 per person, but that was for a Saturday night. Maybe Fri or Sun evening or even Sat afternoon would be much less inexpensive.
The Rex Manor is very reasonable and so is the Riviera in Coney Island.
Nicotras in Staten Island also gets rave reviews.

Personally, I would stay away from Grand Prospect Hall. I live a few blocks away from them and the owners do not have a very good reputation. They are cooperative until you book them, after that they are horrible. Food isn't very good either.

I don't know what the price is, but I thought about looking at the Galapagos Art Space. I saw pictures of it and it looked AMAZING!!

I'm surprised about the negative giandos reviews. I thought it was nice and the food was good. Oh well.

Thanks for the suggestions ladies. Yeah I know nicotras is over my budget but beautiful. I got my taxes done tonight and the lady who does them told me she went to a wedding at rex manor and the food was amazing so I guess I'll have to check it out.

Dyker Beach quoted me 120 p/p with a 130 person minimum for a Saturday night in October. Price does not include taxes and gratuity.
