Brooklyn/Queens Engagement Party

Any suggestions on a place for our engagement party? I live in Brooklyn, FH lives in Maspeth Queens.

O'Neil's in Maspeth? They have two really nice party rooms.

Giando's in Williamsburg is beautiful...it's right on the water and has incredible food

Joe Abbraciamento's in Rego Park has really good food and a couple of rooms for a private party

There are two really nice places in Astoria..

Da Nicola (On Steinway and 20th Avenue)

Trattoria l'Incontro (on Ditmars Blvd & 31st St.)

Good one! That is our home We are there 1-2 times every week. we priced it and are thinking about it, but I was just trying to get some other ideas.

You can try where we had our engagement party.....it was extremely budget friendly!!

We had ours at the Dance Club on Metropolitan Ave. in Middle Village- not too far from Maspeth. It looks small from the outside, but it's actually a really good size once inside- we had 65 people at our party.

The food is catered by Stallone's in Ozone Park (the food was excellent!! everyone loved it!!), and the Dance Club's price includes decorations (balloons, tableclothes etc.) AND the DJ!!! That was the big thing for me, b/c originally I was only going to have a dinner party thinking I couldn't afford to have a DJ.....I got it all for a great price there!! It was $38pp including tax & tip!

Oooooh.... and I love Abraciamento's that was mentioned above. Terrific food!! It's right on Woodhaven Boulevard.

L'incontro is great, the food is amazing, only thing is they don't have a liquor license, they can only serve beer and wine. Hmmm I am from astoria and didn't even think of that.

We live in Queens and are having our e-party at Villa Russo!!!! You should def check it out....the food it really good and the place is really nice! It is the brother of who owns Russo's on the Bay.
