I wanted my brother to walk me down the aisle but then i though.. How could i not have my mom do everything a 'dad' should do since she has done it my whole life. So my mom will walk me down the aisle and do the dance...
I plan though to have the dj later on say something like' there is another very special man in Shannons life blah blah blha can shannons brother dennis please come to the dance floor'
We lost our sister 2 years ago. Dennis always was the man in the family.. but since my sister passed away I kind of took the reigns in a lot of things. Not sure if hes just still shocked or not comfortable doing that now since our family is always looked as b/c of Erin passing away. Anyway-- Dennis and I were always super close. We are 1 1/2 years apart had same friends, interest, and unfortunately personality.
