Brown and Ivory wedding??

After trying dresses yesterday I find the dress. Its ivory all lace with a brown sash and its gorgeous. We also looked at bridesmaids dresses and different colors. The pink dresses werent really coordinating so wee looked at chocolate brown dresses with and ivory sash. It looked beautiful. And the colors would go very good with the decor in the RH (its like an old-mansion type of feel) do you think its weird to have brown dresses? Everyone else seemed to think it was okay (wedding is in FEB)

i think brown would be find--i've seen a few weddings where they had brown bm dresses, and they all looked very beautiful

I think brown dresses are really pretty! You could do pink flowers with them to bring in the pick you wanted

Brown has become a VERY popular wedding color. I personally like it- its very simple and classy.

I LOVE brown dresses. I'm going to be doing chocolate brown for my wedding. I think it's a color that looks good on everyone.

i LOVE brown!!!! that is one of my fave colors (and of course is one of my wedding colors as well).... i think it looks awesome for bm's!

Hey! 09er crashing but I am doing a similar color scheme only in reverse. The bridesmaids will be wearing ivory dresses with chocolate brown trim and then I'm bringing in accents of pink and green and brown throughout the flowers and decor. I've been getting so many compliments on the brown/ivory color combination so I think it's fabulous!

my colors were brown and Ivory. You can check out my wedding pics in my album. I have some others that I can send you also, but you get the idea. I also had some hints of green in there as well.
