Brown Dress in April ?

Yesterday we went dress shopping & my FMIL ordered a stunning gown. She got it in a brown. She was a little concerned about getting brown in April. They didn't have many many colors available. Brown looked great on her & the dress really flattered her. She just called & said she lost sleep over getting brown because one of her friends made a comment about the color in the spring. The dress is beautiful & it was a toss up between this one and another much more expensive dress. The sales lady even kept pushing this one over the more expensive one which had a more of selection of colors.

Anybody else seen brown in April?? I feel so bad that she said she lost sleep but I also don't want people talking about her

I think brown is a good color all year round, and plus it's very 'in' right now. As long as you like it and it's a nice shade of brown, and she feels comfortable in the dress, nobody else gets the right to comment. And if they are rude enough to talk about her they clearly don't have anything better to do!

it's totally fine. brown is the new black, at least it seems. it's a very flattering color too
