Brown eyed girls

Post your favorite eyeshadow brand and color.
Mine is Mac Bronze. It's a shimmery brown/gold.

wow- thank you for asking this today! I have been trying for something new. Usually I wear peachy shades. I bought green last night, but I don't think I like it.
Makes me look sick.

I don't have a specific brand.

I usually wear a light brown/tan color, with a lighter lid and a darker brown accent.

Depending on what i'm wearing, I have a really pale pink, that also has a nice darker pink for the accent.

I use these same colors.. my eyes used to be dark brown. Now they are a lighter brown/hazelish color, with a teeny bit of green specked in them sometimes... I swear they have changed colors as I've gotten older!

I never realized violet/plums worked best for my eyes (I always stuck to browns, bronze, golds) until I had my makeup trial for the wedding. Jillian had to persuade me to try the purples/violets, since she told me that those were the colors to make my eyes 'pop'.. and she was right

I use Almay - I wish I could experiment more, but Almay is the only brand of eyeliner/shadow that doesn't irritate my eyelids to the point of getting a horribly painful rash

Today I have neutrogena cooligneye tints in honey shimmer on. It is sort of peachy. It is a dry-ish cream--it does feel cool & kind makes me look away, but doesn't last?

does you eyeshadow last?

I had orange eyeshadow once that really made my eyes pop--but it was alittle too orange for real life.

I put foundation on my lids, then the shadow. You can also put powder on your lashes before applying mascara to make the lashes look longer and thicker.

I tend to go to the violent shades also (recently some neutral shades), but I use Mary Kay product. Also, with brown eyes, I've recently used a sage eyeliner with some neutral tones and it looked really cool. Got the idea from a magazine.

i always wear a shimmer shade rather than matte...i usually go with an ivory/vanilla/creme color. The one i have now is almay.

That's great! I am too scared to do color. I just don't know how to apply it!

yeah.. you have to practice otherwise you just look like a clown!!!!!
