Bruises HELP!!

My dad got his teeth pulled last week so he can get dental implants, but his cheeks are all bruised now!! What will help the bruises heal??
I am so glad he got them done, because his teeth look awesome, but I am worried the bruises won't heal by Saturday!! My mom has been joking that he is going to have to get his make up done with me, to cover them!!

As far as bruising from dental work goes, the ice really only works well if you apply it immediately. The effects aren't as good if you wait a day or two to start the ice. =(

BUT what does work wonders (at least it did for me after I had a nose job and my eyes and cheeks were swollen like nothing you've ever seen) is Vitamin K cream, which you can buy at any vitamin store like GNC or Vitamin Shoppe! Try to get the one with the highest concentration of vitamin K (it should be first or second on the list of ingredients).

It worked so well, that when I went to work 5 days after surgery, the bruises were almost so completely gone that my boss didn't believe I had surgery and wondered if I had actually gone away on vacation somewhere. lol

Physicians Formula, get the green concealer stick, they say the green balances the blue of the bruise...HTH

no...green counters red like zits

yellow counters out the blue...like under eye bags

Go to a health food store & buy Arnica Gel (Arniflora I think is the brand I have).
It makes bruises go away/heal quicker.

For the first 24 hours do ICE 15 min on 15 off keep rotaing and doing it. It works it is a pain in the arse but the bruise and swelling should be gone.
