Do you have to take your BM's to a special brunch/lunch? I read in a month by month things to do and around a month or 2 before to take my BM's out. Who's doing this? Who's not?
I am doing this at my mothers house. I am doing a nice brunch and making all of the treats. I know us and we will sip champagne and the brunch will never end so I felt a home would be better. Mine is in May
I had planned to but they made me a shower instead!
I wasn't planning on a brunch or anything, BUT, I've already done one GTG w/ the girls at my house. I cooked some fun finger foods, and we hung out and didn't even discuss the wedding. We are having another one this Friday night, and the theme is The Man-Show Night. Sweatpants, beer, and lots of food! (and maybe some burping and curse words lol) As far as anything formal, I don't think it's mandatory, but even if you throw something small and inexpensive, your girls will love it! Trust me! (the party we're doing Fri night was requested by one of my girls!)
I'm not, but my BM are both OOT, and my MOH/sister is busy being a new mom and paying ZERO attention to the fact that I'm getting married.
I may do something as it gets closer. Snacks and wine as we make programs!!
I thought about it but i just cant imagine i will have the time

i think it may be too difficult with my OOT girls, though the idea sounds great!

I think this sounds like fun. Maybe I will try to arrange something.
I'm thinking of doing something the day before the wedding. Most of my BM's (all but my 15 yr old cousin) are from OOT so it's tough to get them all together. I was in a friend's wedding with a similar scenario and she took us all out for tea the day of the RD.
I am going to do this.. I think it's nice.. most important if not all the girls know eachother well@!
I don't have the budget for this but the girls are welcome to share my huge suite the night before for free. Sometimes the gifts get crazy and too $$$- besides, I have 2 OOT BM so this won't work...it is a nice idea if you have the money tho....(that seems to be my fave saying now!)
