Brunch at Giorgios

Brunch at Giorgios

FH & I went to Giorgio's today for Brunch...in hopes of it helping us decide on an RH!

Giorgios is one of the contenders...

the brunch in itself was good...we weren't blown away by it or anything...so it really didn't help us...

the place is beautiful...seeing it a 2nd time reassured me that we do like it there

hoping that the wedding food is better! we have heard nothing but great things!

on the flip side, it is a really cute place to go for brunch, its a nice ride out east and a cute way to spend sunday morning...the views from Giorgios patio are beautifullll!

Georgios brunch is ok but the food for a wedding is AMAZING!!! my friend got married there last year adn the cocktail hour put all others to shame. Plus the steak for dinner was HUGE!! had to bring it home! food was amazing, view is amazing adn one of hte nicest places i've been to a wedding at!

I kept telling myself and FH...that its just brunch...mass produced brunch...wedding food will be better!

they didnt have much real food anyway...

we had the penne vodka
chicken francese
stuffed loin of pork

raw oysters

some antipasti

and then breakfast stuff- french toast, eggs, bacon, sausage

I havent been to the brunch yet, so cant compare. I will say the food at my tasting was amazing. And my sister and brother both went to weddings there and said it was delicious. If you are between a few places...ask them to do a tasting. They let me do one prior to booking

I love driving outeast. I love it there. Thats why I was hesitant about going with a nassau wedding. I love the drive and the farms. I am thinking about moving out there. We are going to montauk next weekend and I can't wait to do the drive lol.

i can't think of anywhere i would rather live than out east. i went ot southold high school adn moved to baiting hollow/riverhead area about 2 years ago and keep telling FH (who is from southshore-brookhaven) that we have to buy a house wading river east!

Me and my FH drove out there one Monday when I had off of work but unfortanetly they were closed and there was snow on the ground so I wasn't able to get the full effect of the place. I just had something else pictured in my head bc online it looks really diff. but yet i did go in bad weather and didn't get to look inside so I can't really tell. I'm sure it would be gorgeous. So what are your top contendors so far? I know you said you like The Royalton and Caryle. I haven't been to either one so I can't give an opinion of those places.
