brunch question-help please

Hi
We are thinking of having a brunch the day after but I am so confused on the place and how people would rsvp, etc.

I am thinking of having it at one of the places we blocked rooms, but turns out so far nobody has booked a room there. They are at another place I booked rooms or this other random place (both not offerring any sort of brunch).

Do you think its ok that we hold it at a hotel where nobody is staying or should I get a central located restaurant?

Also, do I mail invites and how do I handle an rsvp? Thats why I liked the hotel brunch, we just had to guarantee a certain # of people and that was fine with us, the room could hold much more.

ugh why is this more stressful than the wedding???

just wanted to add that we realy arent big into this idea but we have a lot of people coming in and my FH and I do not want to get pulled around all over..so we thought it would be nice if at least everyone gets to see everybody for a few hrs at least...thats why we are entertaining the thought

I wouldn't bother, especially is your wedding ends late. We did it in the hotel we and our guests were staying only because it was included in the room rate.

Is their a restaurant in walking distance to the hotel everyone is staying at? I think it would be ok to do it in a restaurant, but as long as people had a way to get there.

welp we did it the next day in our home- we had it catered. we had about 60 people over.

what I did was give the OOT guest an invite for the BP it was on their timeline I gave them a few weeks before the wedding, and for family members I sent out an invite.
If its easier for you to have it at the hotel you are staying in then do that- just mail out an announcement to the guest staying in the other hotels or put the announcement in their OOT Box. but if you need a def number of people then you need to send out invites/announcements in advance- remember though people will be tired and hungover so they may say yes now but not show up. usually its for the immediate families rather than everyone.
