Brunch Reception
My youngest daughter got married on April 21 of this year and before her wedding I checked this site every day for over a year and got some wonderful information. Now my oldest daughter is getting married and I want very much to do something totally different. Has anyone been to a brunch reception that impressed you? Or does anyone know of any catering halls that do brunch receptions? Cost isn`t the consideration. I just want something different this time.

Brunch Reception
You may want to check at the Long Island Marriot Hotel in Hempstead. They might do a brunch reception.

Brunch Reception
This is none of my business...but, what does your daughter want? A brunch reception is a lovely idea, is that what she and her FI want? By the way, my sister had a brunch for her son''s 1st birthday at the Marriott and it was wonderful!! Just curious and good luck!!

Brunch Reception
Actually, the brunch was their idea. I think because they just finished up with her sister's wedding they are trying to figure out some different ideas and/or themes. Thanks for the nfor on the Marriott.

I did a Sunday brunch!!!
At the Milleridge and it was FANTASTIC! It was a small affair in the Carriage house, but they can do it the Cottage also. We also had the ceremony there. They served coffee, tea & pastries before the ceremony, had a coctail hour & 1/2 (short ceremony) and a brunch reception. We had an omellet station, which was a huge hit and a pasta station, along with chafing dishes. So much food. They did a great job. I would highly recommend them. Our guests LOVED the brunch. It was different than most weddings and some people said it was so nice becasue they felt like they spent the entire day with us, which they did. If you need any more info, email me at [email protected]

I did a Sunday brunch too!!
I had a Sunday brunch at Gurney's Inn. It was fabulous. The brunch was held on the Lido deck under a tent overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Gurney's was very accomodating with the menu selection too.

Great idea
I think a Sunday brunch is really nice. Try Danford's in Port Jefferson, The WaterMill in Smithtown, Meadow Club in Port Jefferson, Three Village Inn in Pt. Jefferson I think you could really have a beautiful meal with an omlette station, danish/muffins/bagels, carving stations, waffles etc.Welcome New Vendors
