Brunch Reception - Need Help - ASAP!

Brunch Reception - Need Help - ASAP!

Hi ladies!

I live in Westchester, but from LI, and fam is still there. Originally we booked a brunch reception in Westchester, but I'm having a ton of problems with their one and (unfortunately) only event planner - like she literally never returns my phonecalls/emails!!! I'm waiting 3 weeks now for a response. I've a very laid back person, but honestly this is unacceptable, and as much as FI and I live the place, for me it's a huge deal breaker. If she won't respond to me, how is she supposed to coordinate our wedding and work with out vendors???

Anyway, I'm now back to step one - looking for ceremony/reception sites. I've decided to stick with LI because a) there are sooooo many more options, esp. on the water, and b) I'm working very hard to convince FI to move back! ;)

FI and I are absolutely in love with the idea of a brunch reception, so no matter where we end up, that's a much! When we first got engaged, we checked out 3VI, but it wasn't really our style, and they seem to no longer offer the brunch package anyhow. Since we're under a year away now, and back at square one, I'm wondering if anyone knows of RHs that offer a brunch reception? We are planning on between 50-75 guests. Also, if you happen to know $pp, that would be super helpful, too. We're paying for our wedding ourselves, so we have to be very budget friendly.

Thank you *so much* in advance!

Its not on the water but my friend had a Sunday Brunch at Majestic Garden. It was buffet style. I am not sure of the price per person but I know she was on a very very strict budget since she was paying for it herself.

HTH Good luck!

Ouch! Got a quote back from MG. The menu looks out of this world and I'm in love, but it's way out of my price range. :( Does anyone know if that have off-season pricing, and if so is it a good savings, or just a little off?

Captain Bill's (doesn't look anything like the name) in Bayshore has a great brunch reception that is reasonably priced and right on the water in a really beautiful room. The food is also delicious!

Bridemay: where did you hear about their brunch reception? I just heard back from them and they said they do not offer a brunch?

Thanks!

They just opened up Lombardis on the Bay in Patchogue. I know they do a wedding brunch menu.. I am not sure what the price is thought. It is very pretty and right on the water.

Bridgeview Yacht Club does a brunch...we looked at it for my sister's shower. It was about 50 pp at the time and included a ton!

You should definitely check out Milleridge Inn in the Syosset area!

What months are you looking at? June? I know a bunch of places (about 12) that we looked at offered afternoon (11, 12) receptions. I have price quotes for Sat night in June. FM if you want details. Good Luck.

My friend had her e-party at Captain Bill's in Bayshore, and it was a brunch reception. It was DELISH!

Sunset Harbour is VERY reasonably priced at an a marina in East Patchogue.

Timber Point is also reasonably priced.

East Wind does a brunch, but not on the water and not sure of pricing.

You could also look into the Vineyards? That could be very pretty.
