BTDT Mom's

I made this a poll so I don't have to hear too many comments like 'well I wouldn't want him to miss anything..........'

We are TTC and we also know dh's deployment schedule. Luckily we can choose what two months we would like him to go (BTW, that is most likely not going to happen that easily but we can try)

So my Question is..... Which part of your baby's first year do you think would be less painful for him to miss?

So basically if you husband had to go away which time period would you have preferred?

I think it'd be tough no matter when he left. But if I were you, I'd absolutely want him to be there for your child's birth.

The middle few months I would say. I was most miserable in the first few and at the end. The middle was the least stressful..if you want to call it that.

You, not the baby, will need him there during the birth. I think that would be awful to miss, although I know many serviceman have had to experience that.
In the beginning, again, I think it is you who need him, but also there is a bond that is being created.
Honestly, no matter what missing even a few days is like missing a lifetime since babies grow and change so often but I think the middle months would be easiest on you and him and the baby.
