......highly recommend that people buy to prepare for baby? Is there any one thing that was really great such as a swing or a bouncie chair?

I am a firm believer in the bouncy seat. They are a wonderful invention. The baby is safe and vibrating and you have a free moment. I never want to have another baby and not have a bouncy seat

babies love the bouncy seat and the swings. I had both, I think billy liked the swing better.. it moved by itself so it relaxed him more. When he was a lil older he LOVED the excasaucer ( sp? ) I didnt want him to have a walker so the excasaucer was perfect! Cant wait to get it out of storage for this lil guy

swing!!! great great! get one with an open top so you dont bang baby's head...
and the bouncers are great too... if your infant develops a cold..dr will recommend to have them sleep on an incline- we used the boucy and she was more comfortable!
