BTJ's jungle...

For those of you who know this pet store, I found out that it burnt down today. None of the animals survived. How incredibly sad....

Those poor animals.. I used to know someone a long time ago who worked there, and he told me some shady stories about that place. I hope to god they didn't do it on purpose

I used to go there as a kid to visit the animals.

I am soooooo sad - since I lived in the area, growing up I used to go there all the time to see the animals. I feel sooooo bad for all of those animals

my dh used to work there...he thought right away arson b/c of some stories he had, but the article says electrical. those poor little animals!!! breaks my heart.

I have been there a thousand times..I loved it there...They had those spider monkeys and alligators...I cant believe its gone!

I can remeber going there when I was like 5 years old!

FH saw it at 5:45 this morning, right after it started , he was riving to work on Sunrise.

That is such horrible news! That pet store seemed like such a fixture .. and of course .. those poor animals .. so helpless .. a truly heartbreaking story.

I can't even talk about it...I'm just heartbroken...

I feel soooooo bad for those poor animals who never got a chance at a good life... but i pray they dont rebuild it.

and i very much doubt it was Arson. I can obviously see someone not wanting another puppymill around.. but if they were that kind of a person they care about the animls welfare nad would never hurt them.
