My mom was driving me nuts because FH has alot of family coming from LI and OOT and she was concerned they would have nowhere to go during the 3 hr break.
So we had this bright idea to have a small refreshment reception (tea, coffee, cookies, etc)at a cafe where I used to work through HS and college - the owner was excited and said she would even decorate! I was so happy - especially since my mom was happy and would stop bothering me!!

I went to a wedding like that last weekend, I took the break to go to the hair dresser and still made it for CH

That is a great idea. I am thinking of having cookies and stuff at my parents house for whatever family comes to the church.
