I actually purchased a bubble machine to have one person hit the button when we are done w/ the ceremony. I figured too many individual ones will be a waste because only some people will actually blow them and I can use the bubble machine for kids parties. It's a bit noisy but I'm sure that will be drowned out w/ the applause and cheers. It's like $14 at Party City and the bubble refill is about $5.
I actually just purchased my bubbles today. I was goign to get them from Oriental Trading but then I got an Exclusively Weddings catalog in the mail, and they have much nicer looking ones for the same price as OT. I spent $40 for 125 bubbles which isn't bad at all. I think I will have WAY too many but since we don't know how many guests are coming to the ceremony, I figure it's okay to have extras. I'll give them to the kids in the BP or something LOL!

Re: Bubbles?
Oriental Trading has the bubbles for cheap. I've also seen people substitute the petals/bubble etc. and just do a dove release. I like the way the bubbles come out in the pics though.

Re: Bubbles?
I bought my bubbles from the knot.com... they are very cute! I paid 8.95 for a pack of 48. I bought them in lavender, but they come in white or different colors too... like pink or blue.

Very similar to the ones I bought. Mine were $5 for 48 and are white, with a round top instead of heart. I added a wine colored ribbon and I'm putting a label on with our names and a thank you note.
I purposely got the bubble wands instead of the larger bottles so there isn't that much to spill in case anyone spills them and I think it will leave a stain on a shiny satin but not positive about that.
