My Church does not allow anything but bubbles after the ceremony. I am concerned about the bubbles staining my dress - it is very delicate silk and the sales associate where I bought it warned me that even a small drop of water could stain it. Has this ever happened to anyone? I hate the idea of not doing anything after the ceremony but would be devastated if my dress got stained before the party started! TIA!

bubbles didn't stain mine, but your dress fabric sounds more delicate.. I'm assuming the seamstress must know based on what she said

dont worry. they wont stain your dress. you will be fine. bubbles are the best anyway, no mess to clean, no stains. Do your thing and dont worry.

I used bubbles and they didn't stain my dress or anyone else's dress either. You have nothing to worry about. BTW, they look amazing in photos!

Bubbles didnt stain my satin dress. My BM had taffetta dresses and they left a wet mark but as soon as it dried it was gone.

Bubbles can stain... bubbles can be made from different things.. some are sugar, some are soap, some have colorings to enhance the bubbles.
If you have concerns... then hand out wands with streamers and let the guests just wave them about.

I know the Wilton's bubbles won't stain dresses.. I've heard RAVE reviews about it. never been an issue.

Thanks everyone! I never even thought of ribbon wands that is a great idea! Where does one get them, I have not seen them in all my obsessive wedding shopping!

In all honesty, at least from my wedding day experience, if a bubble would've left a mark, I wouldn't have cared at all (much easier to say now...) But, I really don't think they will stain...You'll have so many other emotions and thoughts that day, that a little mark that only you, if anyone can see, won't even be something you think about

I am only allowed to do bubbles also, and am terrified of it staining!! We are going to do ribbon wands instead, much easier to hand out and less for the church to have a problem with...
