Ok so I have just come to the realization that I am getting married in December and it is going to be dark outside when we come out of the church at 5pm. I already bought bubbles for outside of the church and have them in a basket ready to go ... But now i am starting to feel like you wont even see them and whats the point. So with 3 week left do I try to find a cheap alternative or just stick with the bubbles. Any suggestions?!?!?!?

Re: Bubbles after ceremony dilemma
wow good point about the time being dark now. what about sparklers? i see a lot of pictures with girls doing sparklers at night after reception because it is dark. i think that would look great outside and for pictures. hth

Yea I was just goin to suggest sparklers! I bought them for a picture at the end of our night...but didn't have time to do it and just used a few for pics for ourselves. I still have a ton leftover that I am selling. They are 20 in sparklers so they burn longer then regular sparklers.

Yea and say there will be a person assigned to make sure all of them end up in a trash bin, and they will only be used outside....but I know churches get crazy with their rules

The church has to have lights outside. If you want the bubbles, I would perform an experiment...go to the church, have your sister and Ivan blow the bubbles, have Erik take the pictures with you standing in front of the church doors to see if you can see them. You might be able to see them and it might turn out better than you think bc the lights from the church/street will reflect off the bubbles...or even the flash of the camera.
