I'd like to get bubbles for after the ceremony, but is this a waste if the ceremony is at the RH? Of course I've seen them after church weddings, but never at the RH. What do you think? TIA for your opinions!

I was actually thinking about this...i am also getting married at my RH..but probably indoors (march wedding).. I think if you're having an outdoor ceremony at the RH bubbles are cute...not sure how it would work for an indoor ceremony...so ill probably hold off on getting them since chances are VERY slim the ceremony will be outdoors.. but if you're getting married outside I say go for it...

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors. I wonder if people actually bother with the bubbles when you're at the RH since you're just walking right inside lol

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
I had bubbles for my ceremony at our RH....you could go either way. It def isn't necessary... immediately after the ceremony our guests were ushered into CH so the only chance guests had to blow bubbles was during the recessional....if i had to do it all over again I probably wouldn't have bothered lol. If I was you I would talk to your BM at your RH about the timetable of your ceremony and when CH starts. If there is a gap then yes, the bubbles will fill a purpose if guests are standing around but if no, I would skip it unless you really want them

Thanks for the advice. I think everyone will go right inside after the recessional so maybe I won't even bother. It would be cute to have them blowing bubbles but they'll probably forget all about them for the minute they have the chance to use them

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
Every wedding I've been to people forget to actually blow them (except my dad) so I think it's a waste of money unfortunately. It's a nice idea but unless there's a reminder, they just get thrown away.

We did this at our ceremony at the RH. We weren't going to do anything but MIL suggested it and it sounded good. The pictures came out cool with the bubbles!

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
its actually a great idea!! you really cant use anything else (that i can think of anyway) because it would be too messy. but with bubbles you get the same effect without the mess

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
Check with your RH cuz bubbles are soapy and when it gets on the floor people can slip and fall and your RH may not like that.

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
I got mine at Walmart. Super cheap. I think it was like $4 for a box of 20 min-bubble things.

I think that bubbles are fine if you are getting married outside.

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
i bought bubbles and was having second thoughts, but after seeing those pictures i will definitely use them, they came out so cool. they're super cheap, like 30 cents. i'm getting married at my rh too but outdoors so it should be fine. some people may forget, but i've seen people forget to throw petals too.

Re: Bubbles for ceremony at RH?
You can get bubbles for really cheap in Target. I think its was $4 for a pack of 20 bubbles with pretty ribbon on it...If the bubbles are cheap enough and your RH doesnt mind, why not try to do it??!!
