Bubbles stain your dress?

Bubbles stain your dress?

A friend of mine told me not to use bubbles after I already bought some because they stain your dress if they land on them. I am not allowed to use rice, birdseed, or pedals at my church. Thats why I really liked the idea with my ocean theme. Is that really true?

Aw, i think its a nice idea w/ the ocean theme as well. I hadnt thought of what we'll be using either. Sorry cant be of much help, Im not positive if it stains or not. But it may depending on the soap Id guess. Ive seen alot of ppl use them before tho, in fact my sister did and didn't have any issues! Not to mention it looks really great in pictures w/ all the bubbles!!

not sure of the stain thing...but my DOC advised against them because they get everyone's hands all messy

Yes it is true. Bubbles, like soap, will leave a residue stain on satin dresses that over time will turn a yellowish color. \
The chance that a bubble will fall on your dress....see....i went to a wedding where they used bubbles and I dont think any even came close to falling or popping on her dress. But then again, not many people actually blew the bubbles. She also got lucky because some of the younger guys were practically throwing the bubble stuff at them.

Yes, it does leave stain marks on your clothes, but ladies, dont shy away from having them, they look so cool. Butterflys and wedding wands are other options....
