Bubbles vs Wedding Rice

Is anyone going to be using Wedding Rice as oppossed to Bubbles?

you have to be careful with the wedding rice because some places wont allow it because:

1) it's messy
2) it makes pigeons explode LOL

That's why more girls opt for bubbles nowadays or ribbon wands.

We are most likely doing bubbles.

i actually don't think you can legally throw rice anymore... not 100% positive on this...but it does, indeed, cause pigeons tummys to explode! lol

I think my RH doesn't allow it at their ceremonies. Not sure if all churches do.

Thanks girls... I saw Wedding Rice in a party store and was like cool somthing different other than bubbles but I agree about the mess....... I think we will go with the bubbles.....

i think im doing flowers, just gonna buy them at costco the night before and rip them apart. It sounds so violent!!!!!

yeah there is also streamers, flower petals, confetti..plenty of other options :D

our church doesnt allow rice for a variety of reasons ... but they do sell rice that is not dangerous to animals. may want to look into it!

Some one told me the same thing that works at the church. It is just that the rice messes up the concrete!

We did streamers. Everyone got a kick out of them, and they made for some great pictures! The streamers stay attached to the capsule, so clean up was very easy, too.
