Clan--let's take a poll...
It seems that 4.8.03 might not be the best day for the next clan meeting.

Please tell me what day works better for you---
4.8.03 or 4.15.03? Both are Tuesday nights!

Dances, Happy also has the MR the same way as you. If I don't cook because I am not home or I just don't feel like cooking he needs to be responsible to get food.

Happy, thats the way i prefer it.. Some people dont mind, like Dances MOM, LOVES LOVES LOVES to make sure shes home to cook dances dad dinner.. I just wanted to break Mr. Dances of that pretty quickly because i used to love to go out after work for happy hour and shopping so he learned to live with it...Now, mr. dances doesnt mind..

Inspired is in the same boat, Mr Inspired cooks too and if he does not eat that mean he was not hungry. I got to the gym, so he knows. We usually cook 2 meats on Sunday which usually last the entire week. In these days of 2 people working, we must all pull together to make it work. If I was a housewife then there could be no excuse to not have Mr Inspired dinner ready when he came home from a hard day's work.

Inspired you are completely right. I absolutely love to cook and I am always inventing but some times I need a break.

Clan--May I suggest a solution? Since we are a powerful matriarchal system...the men of the tribe should be making us dinner. I know Chief goes back to teepee nightly to a bountiful meal prepared by Chief's spouse!

Dances with Buckets-please inform your spouse that you have very important and secretive duties during the day light hours...
Dances with Buckets is very weary when returning. You are no hunter and gatherer...you're importance to the clan far exceeds that.
It is important for spouse to know and respect this.

My hubby cooks for me alot of times but I am really the cook of the house. He makes good steak, linguini w/clam sauce, meat sauce and all these other little things. I like to cook so I do it most of the time.

Yes Happy...Chief counts her blessings every night. Spouse does not do much else while the season for employment is slow.

Mr. Dances does good microwave thats about it!! lucky for me though cooking is optional, whatever i feel like at night i do, and that includes NOT EATING AND NOT COOKING!! he doesnt care.. i just wish he knew how to cook!! LOL

Chief you deserve nothing but the best, how could you do all that and run this clan *shakes head at the thought that chief has to do household duties*

Happy I know the feeling, hubby can cook but he is not as good as Inspired.
