ooo my sisters 16th bday is 4 days before our wedding..instead of a big party she wants to take a limo into the city and go to dinner..somewhere trendy
Has anyone been to buddakan? How is it? For dinner, about how much would it run per person? Any other ideas of places to go?
Thanksss

I've been to the buddakan in AC. Their meals are family style and their dinner ranges from $20-$35.

Buddakan is great. Good for groups. Also try Stanton Social. Its kind of hard to get a resi though. Its american food, small plates, the onion soup dumplings are amazing, mac and cheese so good, and grilled cheese sliders... Actually everything is amazing there

Buddakan is great--not crazy expensive but definitely could be for a large group . Another fun place for 16-year olds could be Tao?
For my best friend's 16th birthday party (granted it was 13 years ago) was at Jeckyl & Hydes---I remember thinking it was a blast!

Max Brenner is a must for dessert! They do have regular food their too . Mangia Bevi has good italian food and has the whole atmosphere of dancing on the chairs and such.

me & my friends went there for a bday celebration and it IS trendy. I love the feel and decor... and that was it. For a foodie like me, the food wasnt that great. You would think that for the price your paying, the meal will be upscale but it totally isnt. Very small portions too!

Buddakan is brilliant. The food is Delicious and not expensive at all. It is family style and they bring portion sizes to match group size if you want. The drinks can get pricey though.
