Budget

Hey Guys. Trying to finalize my budget not really knowing what the expect. What is the AVERAGE brides spend on the following:

Flowers:
Dj:
Photographer:
Video:
Officiant:
Favors:


Any help would be amazing! I'm having a horrible day! GRRR

I have no idea if this helps but these are mine so far:

Flowers: 1600
Dj: 1300
Photographer: 2495
Video: 1395
Officiant: No idea yet but I know its usually anywhere 350-500
Favors: I'm ordering 120 the total come out to 240. They are lock and key bottle stoppers.

I am spending the following:

Flowers: 2,000
DJ: 1,800 - 3,200 ( I have to make my decision my the end of this week)
Photographer: 5,500 (includes video)
Officiant: Church is a 500 donation plus tip (100) for the alter boys and organist and 195 for the pre-cana
Favors: I am not looking to spend anymore than 300 on this if any! HTH


Looking at these figures just made my head hurt even more

i can go by what i am or project my budget to be on them

Flowers: only budgeting $2000
Dj: paying $2650
Photographer & Video: same company $4500
Officiant: our church is costing us $625 music and the church itself
Favors: im budgeting $3 pp or maybe per couple

Flowers: around 600 (Im allergic so were not using that many)
Dj: paid $2250
Photographer: $3500
Video: DIY bought a camara for $1000
Officiant: going to pay 605
Favors: found but havent bought yet $300

We did on staying with our budget

RH-$14,000
DJ-$3800
Flowers-$2100
Photography-$2700
Church-$650
Limos-$1300

We wanted to made sure that all the big vendors we have a budget for which we did great staying in. Then with things like the invites,favors, wedding bands, hair and makeup will come out of our tax returns.

FYI fight with the vendors trust me THEY want your business. We got all of extras just by saying we are on a tight budget but love to have them as a vendor. Also it helps if you recommend people to them. I had 2 friends getting married within the next 1 year and 1/2 and referred them to the vendors.

Photographer/Video: $5200
Officiant/Church donation: $500
Favors: I want to spend no more thank $400

flower I bugeted 10k but estimate at around 7k now

DJ budgeted around 3000

Favors 1,000

Photographer 7100 ( includes video)

Church I thought I would spend like 650 but will be spending a whopping 1950.


I think I am depressed now seeing these numbers

Flowers: havent booked one yet, but plan to keep it under $1500

Dj: not booked yet but prob $1500-2500.

Photographer: $3K

Video: $ 1K

Officiant: N/A we are paying the Church $500 as a ceremony 'fee' and then $ 75 for Pre-Cana.

Favors: No idea yet but prob around $500 or less. I'm thinking of doing DYI stuff on this.

We went with tommy tones we got the dry ice 2 plasma screens w photo montage and zap shots we decided against lighting bc its an afternoon wedding and the room is very bright

Flowers: did do yet, but hope $3000 max
Dj: booking this week, about $3800

Favors: not sure

Video: Haven't booked yet but I'm guessing it will be between 1000-1300

Flowers: Under $1000 because I having a relative handle it for me
Officiant: unsure
Favors: about $4 per couple
