Budget

Hello ladies!

I'm trying to work out a budget for our major vendors. (if u remember my last topic I'm racking my brains trying to figure this one out) I don't have a clue what the average costs are.

would u mind telling me what ur approximate budget was for:

if u don't want to say feel free to fm me. I'm trying to get a sense of what costs are for my major vendors.

It all depends on how many guests you are having and what RH you book. Once you get the RH down, then you can work on a guest list and then book vendors.
I'm having a small wedding (under 75 guests) and RH will cost me (estimating) between $5 and 8K (haven't finalized menu yet).
Photo: $3K
Video: $1K
Florist: $1750
DJ: $2300 (including lighting)
Limo: ~$1K (specialty car)
Hair/Makeup/DOC: ~$600-800
plus other things like favors, DOJ (jewelry), accessories,etc is another $500-1K...which brings me to around 10K.

Other stuff like cost of invitations, wedding gown, Save the Dates were covered by my parents.

Everyone's mileage will vary though. Photo and Video can cost anywhere from $2-8K, flowers will depend on low/high centerpieces and # of tables and ppl in bridal party..

The bigger the wedding, the more $$$ you spend.

i think it really depends on how much you're willing to spend, but i can tell you what we're spending...

We paid

photo: $2800 plus tax

video: $1200

flowers: 1695

dj/band: 1200

band + string quartet - $9150

all depends on what you want to spend though. our RH alone is costing a really high amt, and our vendors weren't inexpensive either. but again, it's all relative to what you want to spend.

Makeup: $450
Limo: $215 - just pick and drop off
Invites and other stationary productis: around $400

flowers: $900-$1000 depending on the number of centerpieces we end up needing.

dj/band: Friend

Officiant: $400

Limo: less than $300 including gratuity (only using for a couple of hours)

This really varies on what you want. It can range from 2000 to 6000.

I am paying around 4500 includes video.



flowers: Again depends. How many girls in your wedding party? What type of flowers? Tall or low centerpieces, how many people/how many centerpieces will you need.

I am paying 1050 for 6 girls, my boq, 18 tables - low centerpieces...mostly roses, but other flowers are mixed in the CP too

dj/band:
again, depends what you are getting. If you add uplights, steel drums, plasmas, that all adds up.

We have a basic package, 2 man team, 5 hours, basic light show for 1100

You can get 800 (1 man/basic) up to 3000+

limo- 750

I'm thinking shorter cp should reduce the cost.

The flower quote I got of $900-$1,000 is for 8-10 low centerpieces, my bridal bouquet, groom's boutonniere, 3 bridesmaids, 3 groomsmen, and 2 mother's corsages.

Below are our costs

$5900 for photo and video

$3500 for flowers, but I need to add some stuff so it will go up. Flowers will range by vendor and also by how many tables and if you do high or low.


$6700 for band

Hair/Makeup is costing $400

I have a bridal party of 22 plus, 2 RB & FG and ushers etc. Plus a 260 + guest list
