This is my first post. I was wondering are there any other budget brides getting married 2013? I have been reading lots of other posts and have been feeling out of sorts as i have a budget under $5K but still want to have a nice wedding. But understand with such a small budget there is scarifice, biggest being the reception.

Re: Budget Brides?
At ther moment we are looking at renting out a small Thai resturant that me and my FH like. The place only holds 40 people but are offering us a very good price to have it during their lunch time ($35pp). I have been fine with us making compromises but reading the other post just make me feel like i'm out of my league being on here. Thanks for the encouragment.

Mediterranean Manor has a champagne reception option for about 3k! It's 3 hours and includes an open bar. A one man DJ will run you about $500-600, but an Ipod is free! I've seen some brides use flowers from sams club for their bouquets and centerpieces. Vistaprint has great deals on invitations and other wedding stationary. I hope this helps! Good luck!

I agree with the other ladies a budget doesn't make or break a wedding. In my opinion all the little special touches and having great people in your wedding will truly make your day! Your wedding will be beautiful and perfect bc you are marrying the man of your dreams. Congrats!!!!!
