I think she's posting this because of the responses she got about national wholesale in her other post. Just a guess though...

stefan's in cedarhurst. we are well under 1000 for our flowers...6 bo-ks and a throw away, 10 boutenieres, 5 corsages and then rose petals for all of our tables. ( we bought all the candles we needed...and still well under 1000 with that )

I also used National Floral. They were great and I paid a little more than that but I also had my Gazebo decorated which was a big part of the payment.

Pedestals is great. I've also heard good things about Flower Michele. I've heard some great ways to cut the cost of flowers, some ideas:
-- I've seen low centerpieces (which are less expensive) with high votives. gives the effect of bigger. -- tell the florist you want only in-season flowers -- make the bo-q smaller (JMO, but I don't think a big one is neccessary.
You can do it!

Re: budget for flowers @ 1000.00
We just booked Burton's on Saturday! They were $600.oo cheaper than a quote we had received from someone else....and i think that he understood what i wanted for my centerpieces and the Bo-k's better than the other florist.
good luck!

It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are only looking for Bo-k's, bout's, and corsages then I think you can definitely do it. If you add CP's then you might go over 1K. But definitely check out Burton's (great prices and threw in a lot of extras), Flower Barn (works with ANY budget), and Simple Elegance (great idea's). I went to a few other places, but I think that they would be over 1K. Good Luck!!!
