Hi ladies- I'm working on my budget & am really unsure how much we'll need for our photography package. If anyone has booked already, would you mind sharing a ballpark figure for how much we need to plan on? I'm totally lost as to what these things run. tia!

Re: budget help
We had the same problem, look into Right angle. Many girls will tell you, they are resonable and do GREAT work, as well at Duet and Marco photography, they will wor with your budget. Also plan on if you want videography, then figure @ 4K????? Also make sure!!To check with your catering hall, you have to feed them, some catering halls charge half price for the vendors they suggest to you. HTH

It really depends on what you want, but I got prices starting at $4500 and up but I know there are cheaper packages out there.

Re: budget help
I met with Patken, Velvet Studio, and Something in Blue...
all of their packages were around $4000 without video -- but Something in Blue's package only included the photographers and proofs (no albums, thank yous, engagement pics, etc.)
Video for Patken and Velvet ran another $1500.

Re: budget help
Often going with an independent phtographer will help you save money because they don't have the overhead (rent, other employees, advertising) to pay for. i did that and got my photo (an amazing package) AND video for $3500.00
try Video Express Productions and ask for Mike!

Re: budget help
Any good photographer usually starts around 4K. I got a great deal from Joseph Michael in E Wiliston Park. He definately works with you. He has amazing packages too. Also does video. If you want more info FM me. Good Luck!!!

Re: budget help
If you are willing to do your own albums on shutterfly or Ofto then Twelfth Night is for you. I have one photographer for 8 hours and one photojournalistic style photographer for 5 hours. Because I booked 2 photographers I get free e pics and it also includes the thanks yous. He will give you 3 DVD's that have music and are chaptered. You will also get the origional disc so that you can make your albums. I am getting all this for a total of around $2500.
If you don't get the second photographer it could be $1350.00
