What's a common budget for invites? I don't want pocketfolds and I do want a ribbon with a charm on the invites.. Help!

Budget? Invites?
It all depends on quality of the paper, how many inserts you need, font colors, how big the charm is, etc....for 100 invites, I'd say $500 on the low end, $800 average, $1,000 high.

I paid a little over 500 for 90 layered invites that had a ribbon. No charm though. Check out E*venstar Paperie online (without the *). She makes everything custom and will mail you your own proof before you commit to anything.

Keep in mind your postage cost goes up significantly with the charm; not because of the weight, but because they can't go through the mailing machines. Each envelope has to be hand cancelled by a post office worker. They charge extra for that.

I had to have my invitations hand cancelled - there was no extra charge for that.

My daughter's invitations had a crystal on the front. Our post office charged an additional fee for each invitation.

I got 125 invites (square with a pearl boarder), with return labels already printed, lined envelopes, envelopes with adhesive (so we didn't have to lick or sponge them),+12 extra envelopes, 125 response cards with our address printed on the envelopes, and 125 Thank you cards with our return address on them, with tax and shipping for $295. I got them within a week and a half.
Because it was an oversized 7'x7' square it cost $1.12 in postage per envelope not include the stamp for the response card. The post office hand cancelled them for no extra charge.
We sent out our invites on March 1st and have received dozens of calls say how elegant our invites are...

I got 5x7 double layered shimmer card stock invites, inner (shimmer insert)/outer envelopes and RSVP for about $3.45 each. I found adding a ribbon is about an extra $1. Extra inserts are about $.25 each. I am have both church and reception information on the same card. I used the direction card from the reception hall and printed church/hotel information on the same size card stock. I also dressed up my invitations with 2 Swarovski crystals for under $15.
Postage for this is $.66 and the RSVP is $.46

I got 125 invites for 200 and something. Not home and don't remember the exact price. No pocket folds either.
