budgeted wedding 2012

hey i was just looking for some help/advise we are newly engaged (dec) and are starting our shopping.. we are trying to keep it as cheap but nice as possible since during this time we are also house shopping on long island (will the stress ever end!!)

so i know we are looking march/april (kinda out of season) 2012 .. maybe sept/oct 2012 .. the earlier the better possibly! I think i am leaning towards water area..

ie- atlantis marine world,
thatched cottage,
chateau la mer.
i also have in mind
riveria in massapequa
coral house
crest holly country club

.. if anyone is willing to give me an idea of prices before i begin to waste time and look/and or other ideas suggestions it would be greatly appreciated!! we are looking at about 100-120 guests! and attempting about 50$-90$ pp i suppose =) and sunday afternoon is actualy something i would enjoy!

I only went to Riviera off your list and it was under $100pp (without tax and gratuity) for Fridays and I think Saturday in May.. when I get home I can check my book and give you the exact price and guest minimums

Sept/oct are peak times ,prices maybe higher.
if you try for any dates between nov and end of march- that will def. bein your price range.

JT is within your price range for march

i'd suggest fox hollow but they aren't near the water but they are reasonably priced for what you want.

GL

If you want water, definitely check out chateau la mer. It was 55 on a Sunday night in March and they are right on the water. Although if you wait till May, you come in on a yacht. The price for May was in the 70's.

Crest Hollow is beautiful and very reasonable but not on the water, but definitely worth a look. I saw 18 places and most of them around March are in the price range you listed. I did not go to Atlantis.

We are having our wedding at Atlantis Marine World. The price we were quoted was 79.00 per person but you have to include 20% gratuity and sales tax. We calculated that it comes up to about $120 per person.
