Ok - so I totally did not see the post on splurging! We must all be thinking about the same thing today!
When FH and I were deciding on our budget we were really just trying to think about what is really important to us. For us, we wanted to make sure that the RH we chose was our dream RH. We ended up going with Old Field Club even though the price was a little outside of our budget. We also decided to splurge on having a band because we love live music and view the entertainment at the wedding as one of the most important aspects of the wedding. Also, we are going to splurge on our honeymoon because we want to have a trip of a lifetime that we will remember forever. We have gone on a bunch of vacations together and we want this one to really stand out from all the others. I think you and your FH just need to think about what you both consider are the most important aspects of the day and budget accordingly.
