Budgets! What's yours?

What's your budget and what are you doing to not go over it? What are you splurging on?

Our budget is $40,000, but I think we'll come in under that, maybe. FH will be happy!

We're splurging on:

Food/Drinks

Our honeymoon is a gift from FH's parents. We're doing a 2 week tour of Europe, ending in my favorite part of the world...Tuscany!!

What's the most important thing to you for your wedding?

for 180 people our wedding is around 33,000 without honeymoon or rehearsal dinner cost

The cheaper the better lol
initially we thought 20K, but quickly realized weddings are expensive! after all said and done we in for about 30K -- since we are getting everything we wanted, we think we did pretty good & proud of our negotiating skills.

We don't really have a budget. We are making wise choices and choosing vendors we like best ( usually not the most expensive). I found it difficult to make a budget not knowing wedding exenses. I do have a running total of expenses and I feel it is reasonable for a Saturday night June wedding.
We haven't booked our honeymoon yet, but we have no budget for this. This is the only time we would be going to HI and no regrets on what we should have done.

crashing but need to read about others budgets it makes me crazy!!!!!!!

Our budget it's $25k including honeymoon!!!!! We will come in at exactly that price and hopefully not a penny more!!! I initially wanted 10k as a wedding budget but quickly realized that's not a possibility on Long Island!!!! If only we were all from the Midwest!!! Lol

I was wanting to do 15k but things are adding up wayyy to quick and ive barely started. Hoping to keep it at 25k with honeymoon as well.

Crashing! FH and I were originally hoping for 20K but now we're hovering around 32K. Not including our honeymoon, rehearsal, or engagement dinners. I'm wondering if there are any long lost relatives who'd care to make a donation lol.

LI weddings are about the most expensive in the country. My family just rolls their eyes. Glad we are older and able to pay for the wedding. Also glad we dont have kids, particularly daughters, to pay for in the future! LOL

We have about 30k to spend. We are paying for our honeymoon with tax returns, were throwing our own engagement party and FH's parents will be taking care of the rehersal.
