I am sure you can do a CH and then a buffet at most halls.

Re: buffet
I found at most halls if I asked they agreed and took a few bucks off, but they advised against it because CH was a buffet. I still wish I would have done it. People are more willing to ask for more and they dont have to take what they dont want.

Re: buffet
You can usually do a buffet even if you have a CH. However, it may seem a little redundant.

we are! it was the only way we are able to afford atlantis! they offer different menus, ch only, ch and buffet, and ch and dinner. i like the idea of butffet there bc the line goes through the shark tunnel :) i am sure most halls offer similar packages! ~Lacey

Re: buffet
I went to a wedding a few years back that had passed appetizers (I am horrible at spelling the other word) and then a buffet. I loved the buffet, they had so many things to choose from.
The only thing I didn't like about the set up was the CH was outside and since I wasn't standing right by the door, the passed appetizers never made it to me.

Re: buffet
I went to one at George Washington Manor. It was 5 hours, and the buffet for dinner and another one for dessert.
I wouls also venture to say that perhaps some hotel venues may offer a buffet.

Re: buffet
We're having a buffet at Crest Hollow. We're catering from outside though.
