Bummed about my car-- update FIXED!!

I love my car, my first big purchase as a single lady I bought a Mustang Convertible. Now the weather stripping on the convertible top got torn and it leaked in the car wash

Of course the warranty ended last year and the extended warranty is 'power train' so I don't think this will be covered

Still waiting to hear the estimate

More money I would rather spend on wedding stuff or fixing up our house

sorry...i know...why did that have to happen now?

i am sorry! but at least you get to drive a mustang

i love mustangs.....

but i hate to say that FH's mom has a convertable mustang and when she had to get it replaced it cost a pretty penny!! !!

Hope for the best!!

It is fixed, I can't wait to pick it up tomorrow.

The window 'regulator' was the issue. New weather stripping and a fixed regulator not a pricey as I was afraid it would be. They came in $ 150.00 under the estimate, thank goodness!!

I'll be $500 lighter in the wallet tomorrow, but VERY happy to have my car back...
