bummed out because I am dying to live with FH already!!! but right now we cant bc of paying for the wedding and my CC debt.........i dont think wed be able to swing it. but it stinks i hardly ever see him!!
anyone else in the same boat??

We don't live together yet either. But this is more out of respect for my parents (who are very traditional) than anything else.

I'm in the same boat. We can't afford the payments toward the wedding & rent so we ar e both living with our parents for now. It's frustrating and upsetting but we need to do what's financially right now so we don't burry ourselves deep in a hole of debt.
I understand how you feel.

Same here. I can't wait, but we have decided to stay and home with our 'rents so that we can save more aggressively. I guess we just have to look at this as a sacrifice for the greater good!
yep..we were going to wait to the last minute but i am going to start looking in October....i just want to have our own place before my shower so I have somewhere to put all our new stuff!

I know the feeling- we dated while in grad school and we didn't live together and then i went to FL for an internship while he wetnt to TX for a job- thank goodness for planes, but my internship gave me not time off at all-medical internship- so didn't see him alot- at best for a weekend every 2-3 months. Now i live in TX, but trying to do a residency- 3 years apart, ahhh!

Me and FH don't plan on living together until we are married, or at least soon before the wedding. It does get hard since we both work alot and don't get to see each other a ton. I think moving in with each other is a huge and special thing that should come with the wedding IMO... but sometimes i did wish we did just live together!

My FH moved in from NYC to LI 3 weeks before the wedding. It added a lot of stress on to already a stressful situation. Take you time. You will be fine. Enjoy your space.

Not in the same boat b/c I live with FH. however don't assume that because you live together you will see each other more. FH and I sometimes come and go and see each other for 15 minutes here or there. Which can be just as frustrating.
It's still awesome to live together.

I also live with FH and we NEVER see each other. He works nights, so I'll see him for two seconds when he wakes me up at midnight to crawl into bed... We've both been living on our own for years, so it made sense to live together and try to save.
