So, DH works on weekends which leaves me to look at houses and bring him back during the week if I like something... I saw something yesterday, awesome house, loved it... I called the realtor to see if we can go back tonight, there were already 11 offers from yesterday and they are no longer showing it...c'est la vie I guess...

Re: Bummer
Don't worry your house is out there. I know I had a similiar situation so I saw a lot of houses on my own but the day we actually saw the house we bought we were both there.
We had the same situation of 'bidding wars'. Actually this might actually be a blessing in disguise b/c usually when a home gets 11 + offers it was deliberately underpriced by the real agent as a marketing tactic to actually start a bidding war so the house usually sells for much more than it might be worth at this point in time.
I saw a lot of that when I was house hunting, perfect example was a little (and I mean little, really cute house though) bungalow 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath that was priced at 329,000 ( it probably should have sold for 400,000) that sold for over 500,000 in my area because of a bidding war.

It was not meant to be... i guess it was underpriced but not really... most of the houses in the neighborhood go for about 50-75k less, this one happened to need little or no work... I know the one for us is out there but we can NEVER go looking on the weekends together, so I guess I will just have to make offers and hope DH loves the house too!

as others mentioned, it wasn't meant to be. i know it is discouraging, but you WILL find your house soon.
