so valentines day is a bummer this year due to FH surgery....but, i am thinking about getting him a gift certificate to a great restaurant, so when he can finally eat...he will have some good food! Any suggestions? I wanna try something new!

i just tried Umi ( japanese restaurant ) in oceanside on long beach rd... love love loved it!!! City Cellar is a great one ( FHs uncle is GM) Milk and Sugar in Bayshore too!!

I keep hearing about Melting Pot from all of the teachers where I sub. I am not sure where it is but I think they said it is on 110. It is a fondue place and apparently, it is very expensive but very good. I have been planning for a while to make FH cheese fondue this Saturday to celebrate our 5-yr. anniversary which is on V-day. I almost want to just check out this place! We need to save $ though. I am just having trouble deciding what to use for dippers and what else to make.

I have been to tellers, it is amazing! The food and service is WONDERFUL! That is another idea, i wont have to do much driving then.

You have to check out Cra Mia it is soooooo good. Yummmm-o We go to the one In Queens, we went to the one in LI also it was amazing. My FH can't wait until our rehearsal dinner we are having at the one in Queens.
