i just missed my own christmas/holiday party for work at the milleridge inn because we had to go into emergency surgery at 5pm...i just got out and home now...of course the surgery was at the hospital i wasn't even supposed to be covering today but i got switched there this morning to help out....and then this came up and the on-call OR person for the evening wasn't able to come in til 7pm....sooooo i missed my party...

yea total kill on the day hahaha- i was so looking forward to some yummy free food...and poor FH brought all his stuff to get dry cleaned this AM, got up early to go before work and then i cancelled on him an hour before show-time

i hope so too...like when i'm on-call on the overnight tonight, maybe no one will call me and i can sleep ahahaha--- it's my first overnight tonight and i'm realllly not looking forward to it

Sorry that sucks... I don't even go to mine bc I care less lol and now I have a new job it's just okay really but working in a nursing home I just don't care to go to those things
