Do I really need one? I was going to get one this week, but I started thinking that I live in NC, and it's only cold here pretty much up until February maybe the beginning of March. Then it goes into the 60's-70's. Should I spend the $40... is it worth it? If I don't get it, what else can I get instead to make sure he stays warm? I actually haven't been able to find much winter clothes down here. Thanks!

BRU has one (by NOJO, I think) for about $20. This is less expensive than a snow suit, in the event you must go out when it's very cold. Baby Gap has some nice zip up wool sweaters, lined with cotton -- this is what we used last year, with the bundle me.
