The Judge Judy was actually a large black man who was very nice. The lawyer for the plumbing company requested an 'application' which I learned, means, more time to review the case. I was unwilling to grant it to her when our case was called, and the judge called us up to the Bench in front of this whole huge courtroom. I was shaking! He was very nice and explained to me that I cannot relly refuse someone that right the first time around. oops. Didn't read the handbook! Good news is that the lawyer was so nervous and kept smiling at me and saying hi and saying 'how are you.' I was all' Don't think kissing my *** is going to have me drop this case!!' I went in with fighting gloves. It was actually a very interesting experience.

Now I have to keep them fighting gloves up until January....ugh.
