For those of you who had burberry ties for you FH/DH, did your FH/DH give them to all the ushers as a gift for being in the wedding party or did you ask the ushers to pay for them themselves.
My FH does not want to give them as a gift, and I said I dont think we should pay for everyone's tie and give them a gift..

DH gave them to the guys as a gift. Personally we both agreed that we should pay bc well the guys are already paying for tuxes and then asking them to pay extra for burberry ties might be a bit much ya know, its an added expense for them that well we want when it comes down to it.
So yeah we bought the ties for all the guys

we did not buy the ties for the groomsmen b/c they all had the tie already......i bought FH his tie as a gift since he didn't have the burberry grey check tie and i wanted him to stand out from the rest of the guys and match with me

well dh got himself the tie since it was his idea, when he bought them for the guys he got them all at once, for himself all the groomsmen and RB. Our dads did not wear the burberry ties, we let them pick whatever they wanted to wear

We gave our guys Burberry ties as their gift. They loved them, they looked great and it was very practical. We got ours at The Crossings Outlets in PA... I would deff. suggest an outlet over retail, you save like 35%.

also, FIL and grandpas wore plain black satin ties and DH wore all ivory. Burberry doesnt make a plain black or ivory so we had no choice!!

yeah thats about how much we paid too if i remember correctly, hopefully you dont have alot of gm lol. I think we had to buy about 13 or 14 of them
to answer your question above, yeah they can wear it with girls wearing chocolate brown dresses. Are you getting the basic beige one? or another color? if its the basic beige one then that matches brown. My girls wore frappuccino and went

Yes, I was thinking of getting the basic beige. I havent even picked the girls dresses yet, but I know the color will be chocolate brown.

A LOT of people really liked the ties....the guys got a lot of compliments and i think they looked really hot!

I purchased all the groomsmen green ties (not burberry) and that was a part of their gift. If i did Burberry that would of been their only present, personally I think that is a really a nice gift.

We're having the guys do Burberry ties also! I stole the idea from Ms Mulligan!
We are giving them as a gift, along with cufflinks-luckily I have friends that work at Bloomingdales so during their double discount I will be hoarding them
Since my wedding gown is blush pink, FH is thinking to do the pink burberry pattern, which I'm gonna buy him on Valentine's Day. Most likely my BM dresses will be pewter/deep silver, so maybe we'll have the groomsmen do the navy.
Does Woodbury common have all the colors, or just the brown?
