Burritos...Need assistance.

Burritos...Need assistance.

Okay, I admit, I'm not so great in the kitchen

I really want burrito's tonight, but I can never find that awesome tomato-type sauce that the restaurants use to top the burritos. I know it's not salsa, but that's about it. Any advice or recipes for really good burritos?

Actually, now that I think about it...

I want to make Enchilladas (sp??)...not burritos,.

THat's how kitchen savy I am, I don't know the difference between a burrito and an enchillada!

I think the sauce you're looking for is pico de gallo

I make homemade burritos and enchaladas all the time. I buy the seasoning mix in a little packet, I think its made by McCormack. The burrito I never put sauce on the top of, but enchalada's I do. The packets have the directions.

I guess if I am using a packet for seasoning, I am not really doing them homemade, huh?

I made enchiladas all the time.
I make chicken.
First I cube the chicken, and cook it in a pan with enchilada sauce, and taco seasing. When it is all cooked, I wrap them in burritos, and put in a baking pan. I pour more enchilada sauce over the burritos, and then put shredded lettuce and cheddar chees, and bake on 350 for about 20 minutes.
I made spanish rice and refried beans on the side
