Burt*ns Bridal Rant
I am not impressed with Burt*n's Bridal at the moment.
When I was looking for my dress I went to about 5 different stores and never found 'the dress.' I saw a stunning dress in a magazine and the only store that I could find that had the dress was burt*n's. So I decided to go. I had such a wonderful experience and Carol the woman I worked with was amazing. She was patient, and really knew what she was doing. Besides that one dress I was looking for, I had absolutely NO idea what I wanted. I ended up purchasing my dress there in February, and also ordered my Bridesmaid dresses in April. I was told that both dresses would be in by August for my October 27th wedding. Well, that didn't happen. I called them at the end of August ( around my 2 month mark), and was told that the bridesmaid dresses were shipped, and mine was to ship next week. I was a little irritated but said okay because there was plenty of time to get everything done. Well, I called again on Wednesday, about 3 weeks after my first phone call, and was once again told that they have been shipped and would be in this week. (my bridesmaids yesterday and mine on Monday). I asked them how long does it usually take to ship, and where is it coming from because 3 weeks is ridiculous and they both should of been in already if they were ordered on time. I also asked for a tracking number so I could track the shipment myself but was told they didn't have a tracking number. REALLY? So once again I called today. To make sure my bridesmaid dresses were in like I was told and was once again told that they were going to be coming in next week on Tuesday. ARE YOU FREAKIN KIDDING ME?! I bugged out and told them that this has been going on for a month and that if I knew this was going to happen and it was going to take this long for everything to get done I would of went someplace else. I have just over a month until the wedding, I am from out of town, and I have bridesmaids all over the country. This is 110% unacceptable and unprofessional.
Sorry for the long rant, but I just think that everyone should be made aware of this ridiculousness.
