burton's

has/is anyone using burton's in melville for their bride's maids dresses? if so, what was/has your experience with them been like?

I am using them for my BM dresses. We actually ordered them last weekend. They are very friendly and they really know what they are doing. Their prices are very reasonable. I would recommend them. I was very pleased and they are very accomodating.

The only thing that I am not sure of is the quality of the alterations. I have never gotten dresses from them and I don't know of anyone that has. I just hope that the seamstress is good.

Same here, I'm using them and my cousin used them for her wedding and I was in it. The quality of the seamstress was pretty good, no real issues. I definitely recommend them, they are all so down to earth and it is a very comfortable atmosphere. Remember if you order your dresses there and go with their florist, they'll give you a discount on there already amazing price for flowers.

Me........Just put in an order recently and so far the experience has been good. We will wait and see for when they come in and get altered.

Carol has been nothing but extremely helpful so Im sure the service will continue.

I love Burton's - there are a lot of girls using Burton's - just do a search and you'll find tons of stuff. They are getting my wedding dress for $250 less than the other stores, and my BM dresses are only $118. My sister used them for her wedding and everything was on time and all alterations were perfect.

I used them for my brother's wedding (BM dress) and I was not happy with the alterations but that was 4 years ago.

They close this Saturday until the New Year which is a bit disappointing because I am getting my BM dresses there but not all the girls have gotten their checks in yet and I'm scared they won't be ordered in time.

They were nice, a bit busy when I went on a Saturday (I had to share a dressing room with someone else) but they do have the best prices for BM dresses. I don't think any of my girls are getting their alterations done there though.

Good for flowers too!
