Burtons?

I think thats the name of the florist, right? I get confused w/that and Barrons. Any girls get flowers there? Is there a webpage or contact number you can give me? I might actually get off my a$$ and get flowers.

I emailed them the #, style, etc and they quoted me. I went like 2 days later and left a $50 deposit.

They do one price per flower...not type. So daisies are the same as roses. Awesome deal!

I kid you not...I am getting massive bo-ks for myself and 8 BMs, a bag of petals, bouts for 5 guys, Chris, and his dad and corsages for like 4 people all for right around $500....and it's ALL roses in February!

Heather, if you email them, can let me know what they tell you and if they are as reasonable as anyone says? I am looking for flowers now, have a meeting with the flower barn in seaford tomorrow and had one with LA blossom a few weeks ago, just shopping around before I make a decision.

Laurie from LA blossom was great by the way, I just don't want to go with the first person I meet, so that's why I haven't booked her, but I very well might. She's in Huntington, not far from Jericho Tpke right off of Park Ave.

yea i think so too..I think it goes by how many, not the type of flowers. they are all one price

I used Burtons for my dress (and soon for my BMs dresses) and the service is great!! I always take a peek at their flowers when i'm passing through and they always look so gorgeous

Burtons

thats their website...

Im getting small cps... 17 of them and 6bm boks and a brides bok, 2 alter sprays, 2 mom corsages, throw bok, FG basket (they put flowers in basket and the petals on top to throw) and boutineers (all were free!) and im under 2k...

They are DEF worth seeing! deposit is only 50 bucks. lots of brides have used them and you will see great reviews ont he brides review forum cant go wrong with any flower (as long as its in season)

Re: Burtons?

FH & I went there on a recommendation from a few friends who used them.... We met with John. He was great! Very experienced and had some great ideas. We then went over what we were thinking for flowers (how many BOK's, how many BOT's, CP's, etc)... He then wrote up a contract & we left a $50 deposit to hold the date. (this was back in the summer). A few things I really liked about them: PRICES!!! very good & came in below our budget (which was low), AND you can use ANY flower (orchids, peonies, etc) and they don't charge you more for 'specialty' flowers. As long as they are in season, you can use whatever you want!!

I see others gave you the website, email, phone, etc. I would go in person & have a meeting (for us it was about 1/2 hour). I'm big on having chemistry with a vendor (weird? but true). It made me feel better to sit there, look at pics, get ideas, etc and then get pricing specific to my needs....

GOOD LUCK

LOVE LOVE LOVE Burtons.. they were fabulous - I have a pic of my centerpiece in my albums.

I can't rave enough about them. Burtons was a pleasure to deal with. They were actually the best priced florist for what I wanted..

I also worked with John and what a pleasure. I loved the fact that any flower you wanted was the same price

Re: Burtons?

I emailed them last night giving them a general idea of what I want and how much i'm going to need. They emailed me back right away just looking for a little more info. So now i'm just waiting to hear back...I really hope its in the range that I want to be for flowers! I'd love to use them..FH has a family friend that he wants to use but i'm trying to convince him otherwise b/c this other person was kinda pricey. So much for the 'hook up' FH thought he was going to have lol

I booked Burtons and I love love love them. They came in under my budget and I felt extremely comfortable with them. I dealt with Bobbi and she was extremely knowledgable which I loved because I know nothing about flowers. I would definitely recommend going to see them!!
