So I went to Burtons last night to finalize the flowers I wanted. I originally met with Mike who was really nice but last night I met with Bobbi who seemed a little pushy. Anyway she was trying to change my mind on some of the flowers we had picked which was kind of annoying and she made me feel like the flower choices I made weren't that great. So I decided to stay with what I originally picked because Mike said it would look great. From the beginning we said we don't want a lot of greenery if possible none at all. It would have been fine if there were an extra charge in the beginning. Anyway I go over all of the flowers with Bobbi and she gives me this contract carbon paper so as I'm walking over to my car I see BB and I'm like this can't mean babies breath. So I run inside and she was on the phone thank god and Mike came over to him and I asked him if it meant babies breath and of course he said YES. So Bobbi turns around and says Oh well you didn't want greenery so I had to fill it with something. She never once mentioned this to me and thank god I caught it. So Mike said it's ok I will it with more white hydrangea. Seriously if my wedding day came and I saw babies breath everywhere I would have flipped. Just be careful and read your contracts and make sure you know what everything stands for and means. I was really pissed last night. Hopefully in the future I will only be dealing with Mike.

I'm a huge no filler type of girl so I know what you mean. Sometimes centerpieces are more green then they are flowers.

Its so crazy that everytime someone has had a bad experience, its been bc of that woman... I hope I never get her Good thing you caught that!

Oh no, I was there on Saturday and Bobbi was the one I met with. Now I am a little concerned. I didn't sign a contract yet or anything but after hearing all this I don't want to deal with her. Should I call up and ask for another representative?

She told us we can't see a sample until the week before our wedding. I am going to call and say I don't feel comfortable with that. I want to see it much sooner.

What happened on your wedding day?
well, i added a few things kinda last minute and offered to pay more, but they said that wasn't necessary and i think they could have done a better job. for example, i wanted a flat bok to present to the blessed mother. they told me no problem. i'm in the middle of my wedding and the freaking bok is more like a corsage and the ribbon on it was this bright blue - my girls dresses were crarnberry (and the ribbon on the boks matched the dresses PERFECTLY, so it's not like they didn't know - the swatch was stapled to the contract). i was borderline embarrassed about it. if i knew it was going to be a freaking corsage, i would have skipped it!
i also think they could have done a better job with the pew boks....they weren't bad, i was just expecting more.
my centerpieces were awesome, though, as was my bok and the bm boks. and they were timely, so all in all i would recommend them, i would just say make sure you don't forget anything when you first book. i would have paid more for this stuff and that's what kills me - it's not like i was taking stuff off and trying to get money back - i was offering to give them more.

i did see a sample the week before, but i was comfortable with that because when i first booked with mike (who i have nothing but great things to say about), he basically made a centerpiece in front of me which was exactly what i was envisioning, so i wasn't worried.

I never had Bobbi- I always had Mike and the other guy (Shame on me for forgetting his name) and they were both great.
