I heard alterations were iffy. If you have a store that you like already, why not ask them to price match?
Yea I heard that about alteraltions also, but you don't have to do them there. I'd actually rather they did them at a place of there choice. I feel like alterations are a nightmare everywhere, someone always has an issue. The Wedding Center in Commack said they would match it, but I haven't heard the greatest things about them either.
I got my bmaid dresses, my dress, and my flowers at *******. So far they've been good and really accommodating as I'm an out of town bride. The prices are really good, and the alterations are fine but don't expect a lot of warmth and cheer from the seamstress. I believe bm dress alterations are capped at $55 which I think is pretty fair.
I am getting my girls Jim Hjelm dresses. I called EVERY place that sells Jim Hjelm in the area and the only person who matched ******* was Bridal Elegance. BUT i heard a lot of iffy reviews about them and their alterations for a little more.

I got my BM dresses FG dresses and flowers from them - they have the best prices. My BMs are having their dresses altered somewhere else.
I got my Jim Hjelm dresses from them - they were definitely the cheapest price. They haven't come in yet so I can't say much about the alterations though. But I agree with a PP who said not to expect much warmth from them.
ive been in 2 weddings where we got our dresses from there and they were great. alterations were awesome.. If I wound up gettin jem hejlem dresses for the bms would have gotten it from them:)
