Burtons bridal! (not happy!)

so i ordered my girls dresses from them since they had the best prices.. and they said 3 months for the dresses to come in.

i dont know an exact day but we ordered all 4 of them at the end of July. so i happend to be at the store in early nov. with my couisn and asked just to see the status of the dresses and they said oh DEF. not here yet but we will have them early dec. so i said ok no prob. Well its Dec. 18th and NOTHING so i just called to see whats going on and they are closed till Jan. 2nd! Can you believe that CRAP! im quite upset! Their pushing close to 6 months and they told me 3. i would really love to yell at them right now!

its bad enough when they told us when the dresses would be in i asked if the girls can come in and try them all on and they told me NO! that i can only see 1 of the dresses.

as of right now im very unhappy with them. i sure hope they step up their game!

Sorry you had a bad experience Good thing is, you still have plenty of time to get them in & Have your girls get altered. Just keep remembering the savings and maybe it will help ease the frustration??

That is a lot longer than they said, which is not right. Good to know & let others know for future if they order there. But over $100 per dress- that is great!

I ordered my bm dresses from there as well. They told me that they would be closing for 2 weeks in dec, and that a lot of the designers do also. I dont think you have anythign to worry about, i just ordered my bm dresses like 2 weeks ago! Carol is very nice, and im sure they will be in long before your wedding

now I understand why I haven't gotten the call that my dress isn't in. Oh no....2 months until my wedding and no gown....

I'm sorry, you are having trouble with burtons. I had a great experience with them. My dress & all of my BM dress came in on time. May be the designer is backed, it may not necessarily be burtons fault. The only thing I think is their fault is no communicating with you.

If i were you I would express my concerns with them as soon as they re-open.

me too...i was just thinking the same thing...so far they have been fine to deal with though

im sorry girls i didnt mean to worry you! they have been great so far i was just totally un aware that they were close. its really not a big deal i just like to do everything WAY in advance so i dont worry (hence me order my dresses 11 months in advance! )
